Razar Saw

At A Glance

My name is Razar (ɹˈɑːzə) , and I'm a newly certified amateur radio operator. Something about amateur radio's simplicity paired with its complexity sparked my curiosity. At first, I wondered "what is this amateur radio one speaks of." With the growth of the internet, this was not a difficult question to answer.

Unlike many current operators at the moment, I have not hit senior status yet! Like how many operators began, I'm 15. My young age is a driving force towards constantly learning, because there's a lot I don't know that I want to know. This very driving force allowed me to self study for a couple months to obtain my Basic qualification in Canada.

In 2024, I officially became certified as a true Canadian amateur radio operator with Basic with Honours. Currently, most of my time on frequencies are spent listening to conversations made in my local city: Regina, SK.

Bit Of Background

What's The Plan?

Amateur radio is a hobby millions of people around the world participate in. Unlike other hobbies, many amateur radio operators participate not only because of what they already know, but the hope they learn something they don't.

I am no different. Ever since I was a toddler, I've been breaking apart toys and electronics hoping to understand concepts from the root. Walking into this new realm, there's a lot I want to learn. There isn't a small birdie telling me to pursue this hobby. The reason I'm here is because I'm truly passionate.
